All Hallows Eve

Well today was Halloween and I took the day off! Yea.

I was able to go see the kids in the school parade and help Nickole get a few things done around the house. Later I went trick or treating with Maddux, Brooklyn, Ellen Warner, Grace Warner, Grandma and Grandpa Dew. The mean people would not give me any candy though.

All joking aside we had a really good time.

When we got done trick or treating we went over to my uncle Ray's and looked at the halloween program that Kris and Cody had been working on all year and let me just say wow!

I can't wait to see what they pull off next year.

Halloween has always been one of my favorites and I think each year it just gets a little better.

Kairi Dew

Kris and Kamisha had a beautiful baby girl on Friday October 26, 2007.

They named her Kairi Makayla Dew was born at Cottonwood hospital.

She weighed in at 6 Pounds 3 Ounces and 18 1/2" long.

Cottonwood hospital will be shutdown Monday October 29th so she was one of the last babies to be born at the hospital.

The moon was full and so 11 mommies were in labor that night and they only had 12 rooms open!

Congratulations Kris and Kamisha we couldn't be happier!

Diabetes, Trunk or Treat

Well the experiences with Diabetes keep coming for Brooklyn, but luckily there is a great group that helps kids thru this sort of thing.

We went to this Trunk or Treat sponsored by the JDRF on Friday October 26, 2007.

We had Hot dogs and the kids got to do face painting, a fish pond, Cake walk (Prizes instead of cake), Color your own trick or treat bag. After all of that we went out in the parking lot and the kids did trunk or treat.

We had a good time but even better we are meeting other people and funny enough people we even know that have children with Diabetes.

I guess the bottom line is life is what you make it and we are making it a Treat!!!!

Creation

God created the world in six days and on the seventh day he rested.

Well it seems like the only time I have time lately for this sort of thing is on the seventh day. Hopefully it doesn't fall into the work category but I think it is the one time I can get to this blog.

Well with the advice of my sister Jadi we are creating this website.

It will be a very good idea to track ourselves over the years for our posterity.

I'm not sure how interesting this will be but I hope you will get something out of it.
